libcrypt-x509-perl software package provides Parse X.509 certificates with Perl, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libcrypt-x509-perl
libcrypt-x509-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libcrypt-x509-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libcrypt-x509-perl *
You will get with libcrypt-x509-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
